To whom it may concern. On Friday 20th of May, I had the privilege of being a speaker at the first ISA Carstens Symposium. From the moment I walked into the campus I was filled with the wonderful memories from when I was at ISA.
I was greeted in reception by a 3rd year student, Nicola, who blew me away with her sparkling and kind personality which came across so naturally. She instantly took care in making sure I was at ease for the symposium. She took my basket from me which was filled with souvenirs from when I was on-board, while escorting me to where the other speaker and guests where having a break. She once more made sure I was comfortable. After the break she kindly told me where we would be seated and that she would be there shortly with my basket.
Again I was filled with her caring and kind presence when she came to sit next to me. We talked a little about what I would be sharing. With this being said, I would like to give a big thank you to Nicola for being an ISA at heart. This is a girl who strives to be the best in what she does. She clearly has a big passion for this industry. I wish Nicola all the best of success in her future.
I am very grateful to have met Nicola. Thank you for having me at the symposium. It was a big honour to have been a part of this.
